This quick and easy french toast recipe makes a delicious Saturday
breakfast or Sunday brunch. It uses only a few simple ingredients which
can be easily found in your pantry. To make these toasts, just dunk
bread slices into egg and milk mixture. Then fry the slices until golden
brown. It’s that simple.

Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 4 slices of bread
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp oil
- Honey, for serving
Cooking Directions
In a shallow baking dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla essence, sugar and salt. Set aside.Dip bread slices into the egg mixture. Sock both the sides well.
Heat 1/2 tbsp butter and 1/2 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Fry the bread slices until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
Serve warm with honey.
